My new book is on Divine Time Management: Replacing Control with Trust, Love, and Alignment with God. It’s part of my mission to encourage Christians to align themselves with God’s heart.

I’ll be working with the publisher for authors like John Maxwell. My editor also works on Joyce Meyer’s books. Very exciting!

How I Got a Book Contract With One of the Big-Five Publishers–

By Doing Less and Trusting God More

So, it all started last summer of 2015 when God put on my heart that I was supposed to share more openly about my faith in my work.
 
As you can imagine, that created a lot of vulnerability and uncertainty for me.
 
My faith in God has always been a big part of my life, and I wasn’t ashamed to say that I was a Christian if the topic happened to come up. But in the 10 years that I had been a business owner, I had never publicly integrated my faith and my work. If a one-on-one coaching client happened to be a Christian, we would talk about faith. But I didn’t make that part of who I was a central part of my “public face,” such as my website or newsletter.
 
That’s the way I thought God wanted it. That’s definitely the way I wanted it–safe and sweet. I like people being happy and being happy with me and didn’t have a big desire to rock the boat.
 
But that all changed last summer….
 
God made it clear to me that I needed to start giving Him the glory in my business. He inspired me to start a Divine Time Management group coaching program and put on my heart in September that I wanted to write a book on the same topic.
 
The only hold up is that I was already committed to doing some training that occupied the work time when I wasn’t coaching. So my plan was to really give my book proposal (essentially the business plan for your book that you prepare for publishers) my all in January of 2016 once the training was done.
 
Then I encountered some testing….
